Monthly checks — Have your tyres gone soft, have you run out of windscreen wash again, have you panicked when the oil light comes on? We’re happy to take on those niggly jobs that you hate or forget about. Ensuring your car is being maintained to a basic standard is essential for your vehicle’s longevity and overall health. Why not book in monthly to get your car’s ‘bodily fluids’ and lights checked and topped up?
Your coolant, windscreen wash and oil will all be checked and topped up, tyre treads and bulbs checked. We can then organise to get these replaced if necessary.

Pre MOT checks — The goal here is to get your car to pass its MOT first time. Let Nick the Mechanic give it a once over to ensure your brakes, bulbs and windscreen wipers are in good working order. Get your ball joints and bushes checked too. Repairs and replacements will be an addition cost.
MOT — Nick the Mechanic can’t MOT your car onsite, but he can take your car to a reputable local company, leaving you free to go to work or enjoy your day. As a knowledgeable professional, Nick can also discuss the outcome of the MOT with the tester and put a suitable plan in place to ensure, if it didn’t pass first time, that it will pass the next time.
Car Purchasing — Buying a car can be intimidating, especially if you don’t know what you’re looking for. With honesty being our policy, we want to ensure that you buy the most suitable and reliable car within your budget and help ensure you don’t get ripped off by a seller. Checks on the car may identify that work is required, if you choose to go ahead with the purchase Nick the Mechanic can help sort out any identified problems at an additional charge.
Engine rebuild/replacement — Unfortunately, sometimes only an engine replacement or rebuild will do. After diagnosis Nick the Mechanic will suggest the best route and discuss with you your options.
Fault finding and diagnostics — By using specialised equipment and tools we can check the health of your vehicle and identify the issues you may be experiencing. This may include clearing/repairing faults there and then or booking your car in for a follow up to fix the problems you are experiencing. These faults may be things such as engine lights, fault codes, sensor replacements and more.
Car maintenance and repairs — This may include fluid top up, gear box, clutch and brake replacements, changing bulbs and wipers, suspension checks and replacement, tyre tread depth checking and advice given and anything else your vehicle may need.
